Strategy
The majority of insurers report that they are either implementing or actively developing sustainability strategies, including with respect to climate change. We support strategy development based on client-specific internal and external data and analysis. We blend sustainability tools (e.g. materiality assessments) with the traditional strategy frameworks and metrics that companies already know and trust. This enables sustainability policies and programs that are rooted in - and evolve with - the core business, and therefore remain relevant.
Business Integration
Insurers report challenges integrating sustainability strategies into their core underwriting and investment business. We help clients align resources and key functions (operations and procurement, human resources, risk, finance, legal & compliance, product, underwriting and claims), build in-house capacity (via technology, staffing, professional development, etc.), create LoB /market -specific action plans, design and efficiently manage projects, and monitor performance.
